Certain provisions of Chapter II to apply to conductor’s license

Specified provisions that govern driving licenses also apply, so far as possible, to conductor’s licenses. That means the same eligibility checks, medical requirements, conditions or endorsements and the same procedures for renewal, suspension or cancellation are used. It applies when a conductor’s license is issued, renewed or acted on by authorities.

Priya applies for a conductor’s license to work on a city bus. She must clear the same eligibility and medical checks as for a driving license. If she fails the medical test or breaks licence conditions, her conductor’s license can be suspended or cancelled under the same procedure.
