Warrant for levy of fine issued by a Court in any territory to which this Sanhita does not extend
AI Assist
Summary
If a criminal court outside this code's territory fines someone and sends a warrant to a Collector inside the code's territory authorising recovery as an arrear of land revenue, that warrant will be treated as a warrant under the code and enforced accordingly. The Collector may therefore realise the fine by the land-revenue execution process as if it were a revenue arrear.
Example
Ravi is fined by a criminal court in a neighbouring territory. That court issues a warrant to the Collector here authorising recovery as an arrear of land revenue. The Collector treats the document as a warrant under the code and recovers the fine by the revenue collection process.
