Aid to person, other than police officer, executing warrant

If a warrant is given to a private person instead of a police officer, others may help carry it out so long as the person named in the warrant is nearby and actually executing it. Helpers may assist in the lawful acts needed to execute the warrant.

Example

Priya is handed a warrant to seize goods from her shop and is present conducting the seizure. Rohan, who is nearby, may lawfully help Priya pick up and remove the goods while she is executing the warrant.

When a warrant is directed to a person other than a police officer, any other person may aid in the execution of such warrant, if the person to whom the warrant is directed be near at hand and acting in the execution of the warrant.
