Chapter to override Chapter V and other laws

When any provision of this Chapter conflicts with Chapter V or with any other law or instrument, the provisions of this Chapter and the rules and orders made under it prevail. That means the Chapter's rules override inconsistent older or concurrent laws while they remain in force.

Priya runs a driving school. A new rule in this Chapter requires stricter vehicle checks, but an older provision in Chapter V allows looser checks. Because the Chapter overrides Chapter V and any inconsistent law, Priya must follow the stricter checks under this Chapter.
