AI Assist
Summary
State Government can appoint Special Executive Magistrates for particular areas or for specific functions, and fix their term as it thinks fit. It may give them any powers that Executive Magistrates have under this Code, as considered necessary. This allows the state to deploy magistrates temporarily or for special duties.
Example
Rohan is appointed a Special Executive Magistrate for a month in a flood-hit district to manage relief camps. The State Government can confer on him the powers of an Executive Magistrate under the Code, so he can lawfully coordinate evacuations and maintain order during that term.
