Report of the mutually satisfactory disposition to be submitted before the Court
AI Assist
Summary
When a court-convened meeting results in a mutually satisfactory settlement, the court prepares a written report of that settlement. The report must be signed by the presiding officer and all participants in the meeting. If no settlement is reached, the court records this and continues the criminal process from the stage when the application to start the meeting was filed.
Example
Priya files an application asking the court to convene a meeting to settle a neighbour dispute over a damaged fence. At the meeting both sides agree on repairs and a small payment; the court prepares a report of the settlement and the presiding officer and all participants sign it. That signed report is placed on the case record.
