AI Assist

Summary

Collecting people, arms or ammunition, or otherwise preparing to wage or be ready to wage war against the Government of India is a criminal offence. When a person acts with the intention to wage or be prepared to wage war against the state, they face severe punishment: life imprisonment or imprisonment up to ten years, and a fine. The key element is the intent to attack the Government of India.

Example

Ravi buys rifles and recruits a few men, training them so they can be ready to attack government installations. Because his actions show an intention to wage war against the Government of India, he may be punished with life imprisonment or imprisonment up to ten years and a fine.
